Record-Breaking Enrollment Campaigns for Óbuda University

Obuda University faced stagnant applicant numbers despite market expansion, missing growth targets. I contributed by creating key visuals, briefing production team, and editing graphic designs across social media, display, and offline channels. The result: two consecutive years of record-high applications, with enrollment up 5% and first-choice picks up 19% year-over-year.

Óbuda University needed to attract more students amid a competitive higher-ed landscape. Even with new programs, application volumes plateaued, threatening funding and reputation.

As lead designer at Markweb Digital, I oversaw the full lifecycle of campaign visuals for two four-month enrollment pushes. I developed the core visual concept, crafted key assets, and instructed photographers, videographers, and designers to ensure consistent execution across social media, display ads, and offline materials.
I aligned all materials under a unified campaign message, emphasizing both technical prestige and student experience. I briefed production teams to capture local students authentically and adapted content per platform for maximum engagement, all while preserving brand coherence. Coordinating across multiple creative teams and channels demanded rigorous briefing and quality control. I established a centralized visual hub and feedback loops, ensuring every asset reflected campaign goals and brand standards without sacrificing speed over a four-month cycle.

Óbuda University recorded its highest-ever applicant volume in successive years. First-year enrollments increased by 5%, master’s program interest surged 30%, and first-choice application rates rose nearly 19% year-over-year.
