T‑DOC, a Hungarian telemedicine startup founded in 2020, had hospital infrastructure access but lacked a digital interface linking users with doctors. The COVID‑19 pandemic created urgent demand for remote consultations, requiring a telemedicine service from scratch to survive and scale.
As UX designer, I managed stakeholder collaboration, defined user flows, produced wireframes and high-fidelity mockups, and created an interactive prototype for core features and different user roles. As branding designer, I developed visual identity and communication strategy guidelines, documenting how the brand appears across platforms and user touchpoints.
I examined existing telemedicine solutions and designed a style that balanced modern and approachable for older users. I avoided reinventing standard telemedicine features like booking, video, and messaging, focusing instead on consistent typography and unique illustrations to enhance brand recognition and user comfort.
A late-stage partnership introduced real-time health data tracking and analytics, a major new feature requiring integration into the existing UI without disrupting flow. The compromise was adding a conditional navigation menu visible only to eligible users with appropriate packages, preserving usability while accommodating expansion.
I worked directly with the project owner, presenting design phases and iterating based on feedback from both operational leads and business units to ensure alignment with technical and strategic needs.
T‑DOC launched core telemedicine functions: online and in-person bookings, chat, video consults, e-prescriptions, subscriptions, and real-time data analysis. The brand now serves both individuals and corporate clients, offering valuable employee benefits and positioning itself among Hungary’s telemedicine leaders.
